All oil lines are run in blue flex plastic conduit and away from hot side of engine. Away from exhaust manifold and turbo. This line goes down to top of factory oil filter mount. This is supply line from top of factory filter mount to remote bypass filters. Finished job after welding to frame rear view. Finished job after welding front view.

Be advised that the way I installed the Remote Dual
Gard ByPass filters was not the suggested way to install it.
The Dual Gard should replace your old factory filter completely.
I first installed it that way and got a vibration and whine from
the engine oil pump. I used the system of the older
installation for 5.9L engines but still used the Dual Gard
double filter system. Mounting the Dual Gard on driver
side of engine and well away from the engine compartment serves
two things. The use of three filters and increased engine
oil cooling and extra capacity.
Soot Removal
AMSOIL has designed a new
high-efficiency by-pass filter element that is also a
soot removal device.
AMSOIL Ea By-Pass Filters use a
synthetic/cellulose sandwiched media. The inner layer of
the element is composed of a highly efficient cellulose
media covered with a full synthetic media outer layer.
These filters remove 39 percent of soot contaminants
less than one micron. Soot removal efficiency increases
approximately 10 to 14 percent when the EaBP Filter is
used in conjunction with a standard full-flow filter.

AMSOIL Ea Oil Filters have the
best efficiency rating in the industry. EaO Filters
provide a filtering efficiency in accordance with
industry standard ISO 4548-12 of 98.7 percent at 15
microns, while competitive filters containing
conventional cellulose medias range from 40 to 80
percent efficiency. |
